Welcome to The Fresh Ride, a blog about the start up and ongoing operations of running a freshly roasted coffee business, and about coffee itself. The internet business opened on September 17th, 2008. Posts are about the everyday laughs and challenges of getting the business up and running in the “Business Development” category, while the coffee category chats about just that…coffee.

Liz Roquet was born and raised in Sun Valley, Idaho as the daughter of two Austrian immigrants who ran their own “Konditorei” (an Austrian pastry shop and cafe). After spending 15 years working in corporations in the outdoor clothing and accessories industries, Liz decided to pursue the dream of owning and running her own business in the coffee industry.
