About the Author

Liz Roquet, founder and owner of Lizzy’s Fresh Coffee.

Welcome to The Fresh Ride, a blog about the start up and ongoing operations of running a freshly roasted coffee business, and about coffee itself. The internet business opened on September 17th, 2008. Posts are about the everyday laughs and challenges of getting the business up and running in the “Business Development” category, while the coffee category chats about just that…coffee.

Liz Roquet was born and raised in Sun Valley, Idaho as the daughter of two Austrian immigrants who ran their own “Konditorei” (an Austrian pastry shop and cafe). After spending 15 years working in corporations in the outdoor clothing and accessories industries, Liz decided to pursue the dream of owning and running her own business in the coffee industry. Read about her journey starting with First Day on the Job.

  1. I love the color of your roaster :)

  2. Loving your coffee, and waiting for the results of the vote. Last check we have a slim lead in the “Talent” blend, which I order and enjoy 7 mornings a week!

Thanks so much for the product and a big dose of fun!

  3. HI Liz! Congrats on opening your doors. I can’t wait to try it, but will wait until after France to ensure it’s at its freshest!
